Here it is! I fixed the issues with the linework, I adjusted proportions (specifically the height in heads,) softened the female features, tweaked skin tones, and I'm very pleased with it. It's still not perfect (will it ever be?) but it's better, and I can't complain about that. The only thing that I'm really struggling with is the line cleanup in Photoshop. I love the feel of the hand-drawn pencil line, but when it's scanned into the digital realm (even at ridiculous DPI) it still looks fuzzy and awful, and I decide to clean it up digitally anyway. This is terribly time consuming and I am researching ways into which I can more quickly complete or even automate the cleanup process.
